Writer/director/producer Lee Zlotoff, creator of MacGyver, is my guest on episode 6 of the Discover Grow Shinecast.
We begin the conversation with Lee’s quick synopsis of the backstory to the creation of the MacGyver and then we spend a few minutes talking about the value of an education that develops the ability to think across disciplines and connect-the-dots. The bulk of our conversation is about Lee’s approach to creative problem solving which he’s labeled the MacGyver Method. When I first heard about Lee’s MacGyver Method on the Unmistakeable Creative podcast, I was so excited because it’s so similar to my own approach to finding solutions to big challenges.
Finally, we talk about something new that Lee has in the works, Storymyn.
